We know how overwhelming it can feel to try sort through all the details for your wedding. Remember, we're here to help.
The first step is to get in touch with us with your wedding date and we can confirm if we're available. Just email info@thewildflowercompany.com.au , include the date and any further details you have planned: the venue, and colour palettes, any rough ideas you have about your wedding flowers, or pictures you love. We’ll chat with you over the phone or email, or make a time to sit down, have a coffee, and discuss how we’ll bring your vision to life.
We suggest a minimum of 6-12 months but we can easily work within a shorter planning timeframe.
We do recommend paying your deposit as early as possible as our weekends can book out quite quickly.
After your deposit is paid we can easily sort through changes and revisions to the order details, nothing needs to be firmly set in stone until one month prior to your wedding day.
We don't! We believe wedding flowers are such a personal reflection of each couple, so we like to start from scratch with every wedding, and plan a custom flower brief built just for you.
We can do either. If you have a specific vase in mind we're happy to work with it. Otherwise, you can check out our sister Biz Minty Mary Pea for a whole range of hire items to accompany your flowers,
The downside of working with a natural product means we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and weather conditions have a significant impact on availability of flowers. This means that flower availability is based on the seasons, and even then is subject to change.
For example, Peonies are only available for a few weeks in mid-Spring (most often November) but the specific availability often changes from year to year, depending on how cold the winter has been and how wet the early weeks of spring are.
We'll do our best to get you your dream blooms, and if not we'll find perfect substitutes to fill the gap.
Good question, and as you can imagine it varys as much as a overall wedding budgets can vary!
We suggest 10-15% of your total wedding budget but if you want florals to be a significant component of the experience for the day, we would recommend allocating closer to 25-30% of your total budget to flowers.
If you're working to a tight budget and still want florals to be a statment part of your day we're more than happy to give you our recommendations of where allocating the budget will have the most impact.
We do suggest though that you do a little research about the types of flowers and designs you like – everyone’s tastes are different and there are hundreds of options when it comes to wedding flower design. Even one or two inspiration photos can point us all in the right direction.
You don’t need to have thought through every detail. We’ve been managing weddings for years and are always happy to provide suggestions and options for ceremony and reception styling ideas as well.
All you really need is a vibe or a feeling, we can take it from there!
We are a local Adelaide florist, and we service weddings all thorugh the metro area, as well as all the gorgeous country SA venues within a couple of hours of the city.
We've recently moved our studio to our new flower farm in Delamere (Fleurieu). You're more than welcome to come there for a consult but we understand it's a bit of a drive. We're happy to do a zoom or phone call instead, or come to a local coffee shope near you if you'd like to talk it all over in person.
No, not at all. We can manage all of our communication online – if you’re overseas we can easily coordinate over Zoom or manage everything over email. A lot of our local brides choose to coordinate everything over email anyway.
Absolutely, we’ll deliver all your flowers personally. We’ll coordinate the time and location with you during the planning process. We'll take care of all of the set up, so you just have to show up and be wowed.
We've found theres a million questions when it comes to wedding flowers. Our blog series of "questions you're too afraid to ask' has a wedding post, check that out here.
Otherwise feel free to get in touch, either via email or on 0478 050 678 and we'd be happy to answer any questions you have.
