We offer flower delivery Adelaide wide. We deliver to West, City and Inner North/South/East suburbs for $12, or a delivery fee of $22 to suburbs outside of that. Please check if we deliver to your suburb here. If we don’t already offer flower delivery in your area, don’t despair — we’re looking at expanding our delivery range soon. Contact us here or give us a call on 0478 050 678 and tell us where you'd like us to deliver to next.
Our Adelaide florists can spring into action to get you same day delivery Monday to Saturday. Orders must be placed before 10:30am to qualify for same day delivery for flowers, gifts or plants.
We can’t guarantee any specific times for deliveries, particularly if you’re hoping for Valentine’s Day flowers or Mother’s Day flowers. However, if you do have a shorter window of time that will work, please give us a call on 0478 050 678. We will happily make a note and do our best to accomodate.
If we can find a safe, shady spot and the weather is under 26 degrees, we’ll leave the flowers in the shade and pop a note through the door so the recipient knows where to find them. If you think it’s likely that no one will be home all day, we recommend adding a vase to your order so your flowers will be well hydrated while they wait.
If we’re unable to find a safe place, we’ll contact the recipient and try to arrange a redelivery. We will attempt redelivery once, at a time they’ve confirmed they’ll be at the delivery address. After that someone can come and collect them, or we can redeliver for a delivery fee.
Our giftware section is a new trial that's stemmed from a love of working with and promoting other Adelaide artists and creators. We're testing it first here with delivery in Adelaide, but if it's something you'd be interested in nation wide get in touch here or on 0478 050 678 and we'd be happy to accomodate as best we can
To keep your flowers fresher for longer, give the stems a small trim as soon as you receive your delivery. Cut the stems on an angle and get them into fresh water as soon as possible.
If you’re looking for something to last a long time, consider dried flowers. Our dried flower arrangements are the perfect solution, both beautiful and long-lasting.
For fresh flower deliveries we recommend trimming the stems and changing the water in the vase every two days. Keep them somewhere cool, away from direct sunlight and any fruit. Some flowers will naturally last longer than others, so remove those that are starting to fade to keep the others healthier for longer.
As we are working with a natural product, individual flowers may differ due to season and availability. In the case of the bigger bouquets we will make sure to use the colour palette and style of the bouquet you’ve chosen.
In the case of the Market Bunches, the photos give you an idea of the sizes and the style. The colours and flowers will change every day based on what’s fresh, seasonal and looking best at the market.
The Wild Flower Co loves flowers because we appreciate nature’s beauty, so we’re passionate about sourcing recycled and responsible materials wherever we can. We also source from local growers in the Adelaide Hills as much as possible to help keep our carbon footprint down. We actively try to minimise waste to offer the eco friendly flowers Adelaide needs.
We know how overwhelming it can feel to try sort through all the details for your wedding. Remember, we're here to help.
The first step is to get in touch with us with your wedding date and we can confirm if we're available. Just email info@thewildflowercompany.com.au , include the date and any further details you have planned: the venue, and colour palettes, any rough ideas you have about your wedding flowers, or pictures you love. We’ll chat with you over the phone or email, or make a time to sit down, have a coffee, and discuss how we’ll bring your vision to life.
We suggest a minimum of 6-12 months but we can easily work within a shorter planning timeframe.
We do recommend paying your deposit as early as possible as our weekends can book out quite quickly.
After your deposit is paid we can easily sort through changes and revisions to the order details, nothing needs to be firmly set in stone until one month prior to your wedding day.
We don't! We believe wedding flowers are such a personal reflection of each couple, so we like to start from scratch with every wedding, and plan a custom flower brief built just for you.
We can do either. If you have a specfic vase in mind, or a huge love of op shopping we're more than happy to fill any vases you source. If not, we can hire out a range of glassware in all different styles.
We can also arrange for the hire of items such as arbours if you don't want to source your own.
The downside of working with a natural product means we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and weather conditions have a significant impact on availability of flowers. This means that flower availability is based on the seasons, and even then is subject to change.
For example, Peonies are only available for a few weeks in mid-Spring (most often November) but the specific availability often changes from year to year, depending on how cold the winter has been and how wet the early weeks of spring are.
Good question, and as you can imagine it varys as much as a overall wedding budgets can vary!
We suggest 10-15% of your total wedding budget but if you want florals to be a significant component of the experience for the day, we would recommend allocating closer to 25-30% of your total budget to flowers.
If you're working to a tight budget and still want florals to be a statment part of your day we're more than happy to give you our recommendations of where allocating the budget will have the most impact.
We do suggest though that you do a little research about the types of flowers and designs you like – everyone’s tastes are different and there are hundreds of options when it comes to wedding flower design. Even one or two inspiration photos can point us all in the right direction.
You don’t need to have thought through every detail. We’ve been managing weddings for years and are always happy to provide suggestions and options for ceremony and reception styling ideas as well.
We are a local Adelaide florist, and we service weddings all thorugh the metro area, as well as all the gorgeous country SA venues within a couple of hours of the city.
No, not at all. We manage all of our communication online – if you’re overseas we can easily coordinate over Zoom or manage everything over email. A lot of our local brides choose to coordinate everything over email anyway.
We've found theres a million questions when it comes to wedding flowers. Our blog series of "questions you're too afraid to ask' has a wedding post, check that out here.
Otherwise feel free to get in touch, either via email or on 0478 050 678 and we'd be happy to asnwer any questions you have.
